1.9.11 Outfit: Anatomy of A Photo Shoot

It's a new year, and I've got a new attitude!

This is my first photo shoot with my new camera and remote, so it was an interesting one. For any non-fashion bloggers reading my blog right now, it's so much harder that it looks to take pictures of yourself. First, you have to start with test shots, and try to get your remote to work.

Win! And when you look at these pictures, you hope two things: 1) Your neighbors aren't watching you out the window and wondering why you're so vain and 2) you can get the pictures taken without turning into a human popsicle. It's cold outside, people! (Hence, the huge coat. It's SO warm though.)

But then you get going and get into a rhythm, and then it's okay and you finally get some suitable pictures for your little corner of the interwebs.

And you even throw in a silly shot for fun.

Although then you get cocky, think you've got it down, and try to get a jump shot.

Photobucket

FAIL.

All in time, I suppose.

Then your remote randomly stops working.

And then, at the very end, just as your about to publish a post, you forgot to take a better shot of your necklace, so you throw this up:

Alrighty, enough of that!

What is going on with you this week? I'm starting school, and I'm in one more class than I'm used to, so hopefully I don't lose my mind too much. Although it's a good sign for the semester when you get out of the university bookstore for less than $100. (SCORE!) Here's to another great school year! I've only got about 11.5 more months to go. I'm counting down!
