What I'm Loving This Week: Coconut hair products!

Welcome to my new series, which I call "What I'm Loving This Week." Over my break I decided to get my blog back to where I'm blogging about something other than clothes, so once a week, I'm going to blog about something I'm loving this week, or, as my blog's name implies, something that makes my day a little brighter. I hope you enjoy each installment as much as I enjoy writing them!

Isn't it funny how certain smells just take you places? The smell of fried food takes me back to the Iowa State Fair. The smell of anti-freeze (you know, the neon green stuff that sometimes leaks out of your car?) takes me to the days when I was younger, watching my dad working on cars in our family's garage. 

The smell of coconut takes me back, too. To summertime mainly. I don't really know why, it just seems to be the scent that I closely relate to summer, which means lots of pool time, sunshine, and freedom.



So, since I love the scent of coconut, I was delighted to see these little bottles of coconutty-goodness on the shelves of Target a few days ago. I picked them up without hesitation, and boy am I glad I did! Not only are they are very affordable way to get my coconut fix (about $4 a bottle), they smell amazing and they work well on my fine, somewhat wavy hair. They leave my hair soft and shiny.

Plus, the scent sticks and your hair will smell like heaven for the rest of the day. If you love coconut as much as I do, try them! You won't be sorry!
