What I'm Loving This Week: Zappos.com

[Source: Zappos.com]

Oh Zappos.com, how do I love thee? Let me count the ways.

But, before I do that, let me tell you a little bit about Zappos.com. They are an online store that carries all matter of fun things: clothes, bags, shoes etc. When I first heard about them in 2006 (and for the life of me, I don't remember how I did) they were a shoes-only website, boasting free overnight shipping on every item. After I ordered my first pair from them, I was hooked. After ordering a pair of shoes from them at 11:00 at night, they were on my doorstep at noon the next day. See why I'm hooked?

Anyway, back to the ways that I love Zappos.com:

1. They have shoes in my size! As a tall girl with huge feet to match, it's nearly impossible for me to find cute shoes that are in my size in a store. The great thing about Zappos.com is that I always know I can find the shoe that I want in my size. They've brought the joy back to shoe shopping for me.

2. Although they don't have free overnight shipping standard on all products anymore, they do still offer this to the Zappos.com VIP's, which I'm a member of. There are a lot of other benefits to becoming a Zappos VIP. You can learn more about that here.

3. UPS is their carrier of choice. Maybe I'm biased here, but I consider myself a highly-seasoned online shopper. I'm tall, and my feet are big, so if I need any pants/jeans/shoes, I have to order them online to find the right sizes. Without a doubt, UPS always gets my order to me within 2-4 days, while Fedex that other company that ships usually takes at least 5-7 days.

4. They offer free return shipping. (A UPS return label is included, so if you don't like what you have, just slap the label on it, and give it to UPS)

5. The customer service at Zappos.com cannot be beat! I'm the type of customer, where if the customer service is poor, I won't be coming back. (Who's with me?) The people at Zappos are always friendly, helpful and help you solve any problems that you might have.

6. Last, but not least, they are relatively affordable when it comes to quality shoes. When I want cheap flats, my go-to place is Payless. However, when I want to buy a pair of quality shoes that are going to last, I go to Zappos.com. I've ordered boots, clogs and even a nicer pair of flats from them, and I've never been dissapointed.

You should know, that even in the age of advertisments on blogs, this isn't one, even though it may sound like one. Zappos.com people don't even know I exist: that's just how much I love this website. I would encourage anyone looking for a good pair of shoes to start at Zappos.com, especially if you're like me, and have size limitations.

Okay, enough raving! I'm back to to 95% feeling better, can you tell? Hopefully class tonight doesn't wipe me out again. Back Friday!

P.S. Any other good websites I should know about out there?

I have never tried zappos before, usually because I need to try shoes on first. BUT, I know all Jessica Simpson shoes are comfy so I guess I should look into them!
